Madera closes flag season with big win

Torres, Liberty earn No. 2 in volleyball
The fall sports second season began this week for girls tennis and girls volleyball teams. The Liberty Hawks and Matilda Torres Toros girls volleyball team each earned No. 2 seeds in their respective division, and hosted home games Tuesday. Speedway to host Pumpkin Smash event
The 19th annual Pumpkin Smash Halloween Bash Enduro race features a full field of fearless drivers racing Saturday on a Madera Speedway filled with obstacles such as slimy pumpkin guts, soap, water, and other debris in a 200-lap spectacle.
