Andrea Rivera, a senior at Furman Independent Study, delivers her Graduate Profile presentation on Monday, describing the experience as a meaningful step toward graduation.
Madera Unified School District continues to strengthen its commitment to preparing students for life beyond high school through its Graduate Profile initiative, now in its second year as a graduation requirement for all seniors.
This meaningful capstone experience challenges students to reflect on their academic journey while demonstrating the skills and competencies they have developed throughout their time in the district.
The Graduate Profile is more than just a presentation. It is a culmination of years of learning, growth, and real-world application. Seniors are asked to showcase their readiness for college, career, and community involvement by highlighting key areas, such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, adaptation, and contribution.
