Farmers welcome October storm
Wendy Alexander/The Madera Tribune Standing water sits along Avenue 13 1/2 and Road 23 1/2 after Tuesday’s rainfall. The recent storm laid down more than an inch of rain. The recent storm that laid down more than an inch of rain came at a pretty good time for Madera County farmers. According to Creekside Farming President Jay Mahil, most of the crops have been already harvested and those that aren’t, benefitted from the storm. “We will take it when we can get it,” he said.
