Opinion: Revising time

Let’s consider switching to Diurnal Time and Nocturnal Time.
Billions of years ago, elements that were roaming around the sun coalesced. Some became solids, like rocks; others were amorphous, like gas. The third rock from the sun had the right combination of elements to develop water and soil. A few more billion years later, some elements in the water had formed into single-cell — then multi-celled — organisms. As more astronomical time passed, some multi-celled organisms developed the ability to propel themselves in order to search for food that would sustain them. Eventually, some left their watery home to live on the soil.
These changes occurred because of a process known as evolution. Nearly 200 years ago, Charles Darwin started forming a theory about why and how evolution occurs. He reasoned that various species developed through “natural selection.”
