My husband could have been a nurse

Well, now Valentine’s Day is over, and I missed the opportunity to put something in the Madera Tribune’s Love Lines to honor my best friend, confidant, sound board, sometimes caregiver, lover, and husband of 42 1/2 years, David Simpson. 

Some people need to be celebrated for how they care about people, and he is one of the most caring people I know. 

I admire those who unselfishly treat others with kindness, gentleness, compassion, and patience. It is how we are all supposed to be, compassionate and loving toward each other. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” It’s The Golden Rule.
