An abandoned Range Rover sits in an irrigation canal in the area of Avenue 21 1/2, west of Road 18 on Tuesday.

A 2018 Range Rover was found abandoned inside an irrigation canal, in the area of Avenue 21 1/2, west of Road 18 on Tuesday at about 10 p.m. The driver was nowhere to be seen.

“Summer is here and the local irrigation canals are flowing. They are not for swimming or driving your vehicles into the water,” read a statement from the California Highway Patrol Madera office.
