Seaborn earns MCSO promotion

Valerie Seaborn.

 

Valerie Seaborn has been a Correctional Officer with the Madera County Jail since 2000 and recently earned a promotion to a lieutenant. 


In that time, she has served in the Transportation Unit, Classification Unit, she was the Training Sergeant, the Special Operations Response Team leader, and initiated the Community Service Project, which is still active today after 16 years.


Lt. Seaborn is a STC instructor in less lethal munitions, basic entries, fire life safety and firearms qualifications. She is currently on the Peer Support Team. She was also recently inducted as the newest member of the Madera Noontime Rotary Club.


Lieutenant Seaborn is an invaluable member of our team, and we are grateful for her leadership and commitment to serving Madera County. The MCSO congratulates and wishes her all the best on this well deserved promotion
