Chowchilla Chamber of Commerce staff, City of Chowchilla officials and County dignitaries cut the ribbon on a newly-refurbished concession stand at Edward Ray Park.

The City of Chowchilla celebrated the completion, and opening, of a newly refurbished concession stand at Edward Ray Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by city officials, community partners, and residents.

The building, located near the park’s athletic fields and skate park, had remained unfinished for several years before the City began reviewing what would be required to bring the facility into service. City officials celebrated the new concession stand on March 4.

While originally designed to function as a concession stand, the interior had never been completed, and the front portion of the building was essentially just a structural frame, while the back portion was being used for storage.
