Lockdown at Madera South

After reports of a possible weapon on campus, Madera South High School went into a full lockdown.

The school received a report of a weapon and Madera Police Department advised the school go into a full lockdown on campus Wednesday afternoon.

In addition to the school still in session, there were a number of athletic events also occurring on campus. Those student-athletes were ushered into safe places.
