With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Gail Lee Schmall, who left this world peacefully on Aug. 11, 2025.

Born on Dec. 22, 1939, Gail lived a life full of grace and compassion. She was devoted to her family, a loyal friend, and a steady, guiding presence to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor touched countless lives over the years.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Bryan and Tamera Schmall, daughter Ronnie Schmall, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kylee and Adam Brannon, Ben Cruz, Cyndi, Talua, Daniel and James, Jacob, Paige, and Stevee, Steve, Liv and Leah Rosa. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mort Schmall, parents E.E. and Louis Pickett, sister, Betty Jo Bollinger and brother, Milfred Pickett.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.

Gail will be remembered for the love she gave, the wisdom she shared, and the quiet strength with which she lived. Her spirit remains in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
