Wendy Alexander/The Madera Tribune

Madera’s Malea Ricks puts down a fifth inning bunt she beat out for a single during the Coyotes’ 11-0 victory over San Joaquin Memorial on Tuesday. Ricks also stole five bases to set the school record for stolen bases in a season. She now has 39 with three regular season games left.

In a quirky County/Metro Athletic Conference schedule, the Madera Coyotes softball team completed a five-game home stand with an 11-0 demolishing of the San Joaquin Memorial Panthers on Tuesday at Zimmerman field.

In the CMAC schedule, the Coyotes played their first two league games on the road, and then had five straight home games before closing out the regular season with three straight road games.

The Coyotes finished off an 11-0 victory over the Panthers with a six-run fifth inning to close out the regular season home schedule.
