Letter: Reader liked column by editor

Today’s was an amazing column, Chuck Doud — most enjoyable! (Wednesday, Jan. 9)

It occurred to me, long ago, that if most Californians were to vote as Madera County residents have done, we’d have a much different state government. No Moonbeam Brown, no Nancy Pelosi, etc., and no high-speed rail, but we’d still have plastic straws.

Anyway, thanks for the laugh and, please, don’t bite your tongue as it is firmly planted in your cheek.
