The second installment of the 2016-2017 property taxes will become delinquent after April 10, according to Treasurer-Tax Collector Tracy Kennedy Desmond.
If unpaid, a 10 percent penalty and $20 cost will be added to each parcel.
“If you have not received your tax bill, please contact our office,” Kennedy Desmond said. “All deeds may not have been processed as of this date, therefore, they would not have been entered into the property tax system.
“However, the taxpayer is responsible to pay their taxes timely, whether or not they receive a bill.” Payments made by mail must be postmarked by April 10th, she said.
Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
