More than 100 local cattle producers attended a luncheon meeting with representatives from Turlock Livestock Auction Yard (TLAY) and Zoetis.
The event, held at the Will Gill Pavilion in Madera on March 23, brought together key stakeholders from the cattle industry to address and discuss current issues in the cattle market and newly released vaccine protocols.
Key topics discussed were:
• Market Conditions: Updates on current high cattle prices, tariff effects, diminished supply issues, and screwworm populations were shared by TLAY representatives, Max Olvera, Steve Faria and Tim Sisil.
