Voter registration deadline nears

Madera County residents who wish to vote in the consolidated presidential primary next month will need to register by Monday.
The county clerk’s office, 200 W. 4th St., will be open until 7 p.m. Monday to accept voter registration forms.
Would-be voters must be a U.S. citizen who will be at least 18 years old on or before election day, June 7.
