Sherman Thomas STEM Academy holds its first graduation for 16

Sherman Thomas STEM Academy Valedictorian Lauren McLaury, being congratulated by the school’s president, Roger Leach.

The first graduation ceremony for the new Sherman Thomas STEM Academy charter school was on Tuesday, June 5, according to principal Jamie Brock.

Sixteen students were graduated from the 6th-8th grade middle school.

Lauren McLaury was valedictorian, according to Brock.

Sherman Thomas STEM Academy graduates are Jonathan Aguilar, Destiny Alcaraz, Aydan Baker, Jordan Basila, Jackson Benard, Jacob Benzler, Bryton Grisby,

Cheyenne Hunter, Yadhira Jauregui, Samuel Jimenez, Lynden Johnson, Justin Lopez,
Lauren McLaury, Sophia Nassar, Juan Miguel Rodriguez, and Devon Tripp.
