Madera’s Davion Pino goes the opposite way for a single that scored the game-tying run in Monday’s win over Northgate. Pino later scored the go-ahead run before Northgate tied it in the next inning.
After picking up a win earlier in the day, the Madera Coyotes baseball team completed a doubleheader day with a 5-4 victory over Northgate in the Fresno Easter Classic at Mel Parker Field.
Earlier in the day, the Coyotes defeated Buhach Colony out of Atwater with a 10-0 mercy-rule victory.
In the nightcap, the Coyotes used a four-run second inning and an outstanding relief pitching performance from Christian Guerrero to pick up the win.
