MCSO honors five Academy grads

Members of the Madera County Sheriff’s Office were on hand to watch five MCSO cadets graduate from the Fresno City College Police Academy on March 20. From left are Lieutenant Valerie Seaborn, Deputy Daniel Sandoval, Lieutenant Zack Zamudio, Deputy Christian Zepeda, Undersheriff Brian Esteves, Deputy Avery Worrell, Sheriff Tyson Pogue, Deputy Abigail Robinson, Assistant Sheriff Jason Clark, and Deputy Jordan Martinez.

Five Madera County Sheriff’s Office cadets graduated from the Fresno City College Police Academy after 26 weeks of rigorous training.


Those graduated were: Deputy Abigail Robinson, Deputy Avery Worrell, Deputy Christian Zepeda, Deputy Daniel Sandoval and Deputy Jordan Martinez.


In addition, Deputy Robinson was awarded Top Law Enforcement Skills, Top Academic, Top All Around Cadet, and was the runner up for Women’s Physical Agility. She was also honored with the Latino Police Officers Association Scholarship and McGinty Family Scholarship.
