Nine TEC gymnasts competed at the Bratayley Great Destinations competition on Jan. 21 in Anaheim and came away with awards.

TEC competed against two other countries and nine states at the Disneyland Hotel in a competition hosted by the Bratayley sisters. The sisters host a YouTube channel that has more than 5.5 million subscribers.

In addition, TEC gymnasts had the opportunity to meet former Olympians Shawn Johnson and Ashton Locklear, who gave out medals and had breakfast with the competitors. The Bratayley sisters, Annie and Hayley, also watched the competition and took pictures with the competitors.

“The girls got to spend their free time in Disneyland, but when asked what was their favorite part of the weekend, they all said the competition,” TEC owner Tammi Britton said.

The TEC gymnasts will compete in the Clovis Classic on Saturday.
