Sample ballots to be mailed Sept. 29

Sample ballots for the consolidated presidential general election will be mailed Sept. 29, according to Madera County Clerk-Recorder and Registrar of Voters Rebecca Martinez.

“Sample Ballots contain important information relating to the election, candidates, measures, and indicate the voter’s polling place location,” Martinez said. “Using the sample ballot to pre-mark choices helps save you time at the polls on Election Day. The sample ballots have been re-designed to make your voting experience even easier.”

Voters now have the option to decide how they receive their sample ballots.

If you would like to help save taxpayer dollars, you can choose to stop receiving your sample ballot by mail and “Go Green”.

Voters who “Go Green” will automatically receive their sample ballots electronically by email. If you would like to change how you receive your sample ballot, visit www.vote madera.com and click “Go Green.”
