Toros struggle in loss to Broncos

Just two days prior to its mach against Dos Palos, the Matilda Torres Toros played spirited volleyball in a three-set tournament victory over North Yosemite League foe Sunnyside in the Madera Classic Volleyball tournament.

However, the momentum from that match did not play over in a three-set non-conference loss to Dos Palos on Monday.

In the loss, the Toros hit the ball into the net 12 times and hit out of bounds 10 times, which is almost the equivalent of giving an entire match away. The Toros also missed 11 serves and were aced nine times.
