The Madera Coyote softball team engulfs Isabella Aguirre after her suicide squeeze bunt drove in Brilynn Santiago with the walk-off run Tuesday at Zimmerman Field against Edison.

The Madera Coyotes softball team found themselves in a precarious predicament against the Edison Tigers this week in a County/Metro Athletic Conference match-up.

Twice, they found themselves in multiple run deficits, and twice they managed to overcome them. Freshman Isabella Aguirre laid down a perfect suicide squeeze bunt with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to score Brilynn Santiago with the game-winning run Tuesday at Zimmerman Field.

Freshman Kearney Opfergelt drove in four runs to lead the Madera offense. Lead-off hitter Malea Ricks also had four hits with three runs scored and stole three bases.
