MCC finishes well in first season

Former Madera South cross country runner, Vidal Luna, runs the hill at Woodward Park in the Central Valley Conference Cross Country Championships for Madera Community College. Luna won the race and helped MCC to a third place finish in its first-ever CVC championship race.

 

Madera Community College’s Men’s and Women’s Cross Country team competed in the Central Valley Conference Championships on Tuesday at Woodward Park in Fresno.


The CVC is comprised of College of the Sequoias in Visalia, Clovis, Fresno, Merced, Madera, Reedley, Taft, Lemoore, and Porterville Colleges.


The men’s team placed third behind Clovis and COS.
