Inspiration with encouragement

Encouragement costs nothing for the giver, but it is very valuable to someone receiving it. We often haven’t a clue what is going on in a person’s life, or how he or she is able to handle difficulties. A kind word, a prayer, or just letting someone know you care means so very much.

This week, The Madera Tribune was honored by the Madera Rotary Club as their “2024 Business of the Year.” What a great encouragement for this little community newspaper! It meant so much to all of us to be supported and honored in such a special way. The Rotary Club has no idea just how grateful we are. We have had some tough times, and this is a great inspiration for us.

The complimentary words spoken at that ceremony gave the staff “a shot in the arm” to know how much our community cares about the work the Tribune does.
