Hawks dominate Parlier Panthers in win

PARLIER — The Liberty Hawks were the better team against the Parlier Panthers. and showed why early and often in a 55-0 Northwest Sequoia Conference drubbing Friday night.


The Liberty Hawks held the Panthers to just 120 yards of total offense. Meanwhile, the Hawks gained 499 yards of total offense, including 380 yards on the ground. Quarterback Noah Bonilla also threw four touchdown passes.


The Hawks held the Panthers to just seven first downs, but most came during a 74-yard drive late in the game. Before then, the Hawks forced the Panthers to punt on six straight first half series. Parlier had just 24 yards of total offense in the first half, and 44 yards came on a trick play to open the game.
