Twenty local vendors and agencies host booths during a Community Resource Fair & Family Fun Day at Lion’s Town and Country Park.

First Christian Church of Madera hosted a Community Resource Fair & Family Fun Day at Lion’s Town & Country Park on Saturday.

There were 20 booths of vendors and services, music, fun games, door prizes, and vaccines.

The Friends of Madera County Library distributed free children’s books donated by First Christian Church. About 300 children received books with bookmarks.

Cheryl Gagliardi, secretary at FCC, organized the event with the help of Robin Walton and the church congregation. Ron Walton provided the live music for all ages.

The morning weather was great (not hot) and everyone seemed to have a great time.
