Pistoresi Ambulance owner Monte Pistoresi leads the 2022 Old Timer’s Day Parade, with his great-granddaughter Gianna, as the Grand Marshall. Pistoresi passed away Wednesday.
Long-time owner of Pistoresi Ambulance and community leader, Monte Pistoresi, passed away Wednesday after a long battle with illness.
Pistoresi is best known for owning Pistoresi Ambulance, which has been around since 1942. He owned the company for many years before sharing the role with his son, Ted, in 2002.
Pistoresi received the Madera Chamber of Commerce’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
