Woman survives DUI wreck

The wrecked silver sedan driven by Oksana Reynoso sits in a parking lot after crashing into multiple vehicles and objects early Thursday morning in the 1800 block of West Almond Avenue. Reynoso was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
A 21-year-old Madera woman alleged to be driving under the influence of alcohol left a trail of damage early Thursday morning after crashing multiple times and then wrecking her car, according to the Madera Police Department.
Oksana Reynoso, 21, failed field sobriety tests at the wreckage scene, according to officers, and was allegedly twice the legal limit for alcohol.
Police Public information officer Mark Trukki said the driver “was reportedly east bound on Schnoor about 1:15 a.m. (Thursday), when she turned and drove on to grassy area on West Almond, struck the curb on the north side, hit a no-parking sign, a fence and then went into a driveway and struck a parked semi truck.
She was alone in the vehicle, no other vehicles were involved and she was not (seriously) injured,” Trukki said.
The DUI crash was one of two police responded to within an hour.
Julian Salas allegedly crashed his vehicle near Pine Street and Almond Avenue a few minutes later at 1:55 a.m. He was arrested on charges of DUI.
A third Madera driver, Daniel Dennision, 33, also was arrested on charges of DUI after officers spotted him driving erratically and made a traffic stop.
Police urge motorists to drive defensively and be on the lookout for drivers who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and report them immediately to 911 if they can safely do so.
