About 20 Madera South HOSA students attend the recent State Leadership Conference in Ontario in late March.
Students from Madera South High School’s HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) chapter recently returned from the State Leadership Conference in Ontario, California, where they demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and hands-on medical skills.
A group of 20 students attended the conference from March 26-29, participating in workshops and networking with peers from across the state while exploring careers in the medical field. Throughout the event, students engaged in activities designed to build practical skills and expand their knowledge.
Two student leaders, Vice President Erika Valdez and Vice President of Community Service Michelle Pacheco, led a standout workshop titled, “Orange You Glad You’re Sterile.”
