Linn drops his lawsuit against the county

Former Madera County District Attorney David Linn, voluntarily dismissed his lawsuit against the county and all individually named defendants, including the members of the Board of Supervisors, on Jan. 29

No money was paid by either party and the case is now concluded, according to a news release from County Counsel Regina A. Garza.

“The board is pleased with the outcome,” said Garza, “as it ultimately benefits the taxpayers of Madera County.”

She said the Board of Supervisors had no further comment.

Linn had sued the board, alleging harassment, when the board sued him over an investigation he had launched against the board.

Linn lost his bid for reelection in November.
