Disappointed by Farinelli’s election loss

As a supporter of Rick Farinelli for Madera County District 3 supervisor I was disappointed that he wasn’t reelected to that office.

Rick is one of Madera County’s hardest working supervisors. Although we did not always agree, I believe Rick was sincere in his efforts to make Madera County a better place to live.

I appreciate Rick keeping the citizens informed with his newsletters and email updates. Thank you, Rick, for being a public servant, not a politician.

I hope that Supervisor-elect Rob Poythress will continue to keep the public informed on issues and events via the Internet.Now more than ever elected officials need to be transparent in all areas of government.
