Search continues for missing woman, 33
The Madera County Sheriff’s Office continued its search Tuesday for a Clovis woman who went missing near Friant last week.
Shannon Rohlfes, 33, was last seen in Clovis on June 7, according to Cmdr. Bill Ward. Her vehicle was found abandoned near Road 206 and Friant Road, on the Madera County side of the San Joaquin River. It had been abandoned several days ago, Ward said Saturday. “Shannon is considered at risk due to medical conditions,” Ward said.
A command post has been set up in the area near Millerton Lake to help deputies and search and rescue teams in their efforts to find Rohlfes.
Those with information on the whereabouts of Shannon Rohlfes should call the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at 675-7770.
