Erickson keeps winning-streak alive

At this time last year, Matt Erickson’s No. 42 Late Model car was no where to be seen at the LoanMart Madera Speedway.

Erickson, who was the 2014 Open Late Model Series champion, was suspended by Speedway officials for the first four races of the 2015 season.

That time away from “The Fastest 1/3 Mile in the West” hurt Erickson’s chances to defend his title when he returned for the fifth race of that year.
