Pedestrian dies after getting struck
Madera Police Officers were dispatched to Vineyard Avenue and E 6th Street for a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. When officers arrived Saturday evening at about 6:50 p.m., they determined a vehicle driving eastbound on Sixth Street briefly stopped at the stop sign at Vineyard Avenue. The driver proceeded through the intersection as a pedestrian was walking northbound in the west crosswalk of the intersection. The driver struck the pedestrian and stopped shortly after.

Chowchilla Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of 255 Washington Road regarding a suspicious vehicle parked in the area with subjects observed entering and exiting the vehicle.
