Ty Woodley of the Sand Trap joins Waffle Spot owner Kim Praytor, center, and Waffle Spot manager Sabrina Vandecar to promote the third annual Clam Chowder Cook Off to be held on April 1 at Waffle Spot (1101 Country Club Drive) from 3-5 p.m.
Madera’s Waffle Spot will host the third annual Clam Chowder Cook-Off and all eyes are to unseat two-time champion Stacy Cornaggia from Backstreet Bar and Grill.
In addition to Backstreet and Waffle Spot, Sugar Pine Smokehouse will vie for the title. They have been a part of the Cook-Off since its inception in 2021. The Sand Trap, Pheasant Run Golf Course’s restaurant in Chowchilla, will also vie for the title, in addition to The Vineyard Restaurant.
The Cook-Off will be held at Waffle Spot (1101 Country club Drive) on April 1 from 3-5 p.m. The cost for the tickets went from $10 last year to $8 this year.
