For The Madera Tribune
The Madera chapter of United UpStanders, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering students to stand up for others, foster supportive communities, and inspire positive change gather for Family Bingo Night and receive a $2,500 grant from Lead4Change to support the UpStanders’ ongoing efforts.
Family Bingo Night at Blast and Brew was a huge success as families from across the community came together to play, celebrate, and support a powerful cause ending bullying on school campuses.
The event was filled with laughter, connection, and purpose, perfectly reflecting the mission of United UpStanders, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering students to stand up for others, foster supportive communities, and inspire positive change.
United UpStanders works to end bullying through education, advocacy, and leadership development by teaching students what it truly means to be an UpStander, someone who takes action, shows empathy, and creates safe and inclusive school environments. Family Bingo Night was a shining example of that mission in action.
