Toros set school records in win

The Matilda Torres Toros boys basketball team got a much-needed confidence boost with a commanding victory over the Central Grizzlies in North Yosemite League action. 


The Toros scored 55 points in the first two half and put away the Grizzlies with a school record 91-15 victory. It was the most points in school history and also the largest margin of victory (76) points. 


Torres had a great night shooting the basketball. They made 38-of-69 shots (55 percent, and was 8-of-18 (44 percent) from 3-point range.
