Matilda Torres’ Steven Jamison drives to the hoop to score two of his 12 points in Friday’s win over the Central Grizzlies. He had a team-high five steals in forcing 37 Central turnovers in the blowout.
The Toros scored 55 points in the first two half and put away the Grizzlies with a school record 91-15 victory. It was the most points in school history and also the largest margin of victory (76) points.
Torres had a great night shooting the basketball. They made 38-of-69 shots (55 percent, and was 8-of-18 (44 percent) from 3-point range.
