Toros capture wrestling title

After the Matilda Torres Toros boys cross country team capture the first Central Section championship in school history in the fall, the wrestling team easily captured the Div. V title this weekend.
The Toros, who hosted the tournament, easily outpointed Woodlake 170.5-132.0 to win the championship.
The Toros had 10 wrestlers compete on Saturday and came away with six individual championships and a fourth place finisher. The top three earn a berth to the Central Section Masters championship next week at Buchanan High School.
