For the first time in recent memory, the Madera South Stallions football team came back from a fourth quarter deficit to pick up a victory.
The Stallions trailed the Fresno Warriors, 19-14 with about five minutes left Friday night at McLane Stadium. Then, the Stallions put together a nine-play, 50-yard drive to punch the ball into the end zone with less than a minute left to play for a 22-19 victory.
Although the Stallions were out gained in the stat sheet (261-228), the Stallions scored when it mattered most.
