TOLLESON, ARIZONA — The Madera Coyotes softball team snapped its early two-game losing streak in style with six straight victories at the West Valley Invitational in Tolleson, Arizona, over the weekend. 


The Coyotes defeated Tuscon, 8-4, to capture the prestigious Arizona tournament on Saturday after playing two games earlier in the day. 


On the way to the title game, the Coyotes defeated the No. 2 ranked team in Arizona, Desert Vista, who was also ranked No. 40 in the nation. Tucson is also a top 10 team in Arizona.
