The Madera South Stallions baseball team had a chance to put away the Dos Palos Broncos early, but couldn’t in a 4-2 loss Friday at Eddie Chapa Field.

The Stallions led 2-0 in the bottom of the first inning, and had runners at first and second with one out. However, the runners only advanced 90 feet and the Broncos got out of the inning.

Three innings later, the Broncos put runners at second and third with no one out. They hit two sacrifice flies to drive in both runs to tie the game, and eventually get the non-conference victory.
