Stallions honor seniors with win

Madera South seniors Joshua Crumley, left, and Nathan Leon are honored before Wednesday’s dual match with Pacheco on Senior Night. Both wrestlers won to help the Stallions win the dual.

 

In its first dual match of the season, the Madera South Stallions honored its two seniors with an emphatic victory over the Pacheco Panthers at Madera South.


Nathan Leon and Joshua Crumley were honored before Wednesday’s match. Madera South won 10 of 14 matches, including seven pinfalls, which came in seven straight matches for a 56-19 victory.


From Michael Tabarez at 138 pounds to Crumley at 190 pounds, the Stallions recorded pins. Of the seven straight pins five came in the first period.
