Madera South’s David Moles throws a pitch during Friday’s victory over Matilda Torres. Moles allowed one run on  two hits over five innings and went 4-for-4 at the plate.

Although the Madera South Stallions baseball team lost its chance at the playoffs last week, they still kept battling and hurt the Matilda Torres Toros baseball team’s chances at the postseason.

The Stallions scored two runs in the sixth and seventh innings for a 4-1 victory over the Toros on Friday at Matilda Torres.

Three days before, the Stallions took an early lead only to see the Toros score eight unanswered runs in the win.
