Madera South senior Noah Casares connects on a pitch in the sixth inning of Friday’s season finalé loss to Roosevelt. Casares reached on an error and came around to score in the sixth.

The Madera South Stallions baseball team was riding a three-game winning streak heading into the season finale, but like it has been all season, little mistakes led to a big loss in Friday’s battle with Roosevelt.

The Stallions committed three errors, but it was the little things like not hitting the cut-off man, allowing runners to take an extra base, six walks and three hit batters that led to a 7-3 loss on Senior Night at Eddie Chapa Field.

Before the game, Caleb Fant, Noah Casares, Brendan Gustafson, Carlos Venegas, Victor Palomino, David Moles, Jeremiah Montes and Mikey Garcia were honored, and received the first pitch from one of their parents.
