In the 2023 home opener, new Madera South girls volleyball head coach Madie Devine didn’t have it easy by having to face former County/Metro Athletic Conference foe Bullard-Fresno.

The Stallions worked through their mistakes and kept the match close in a 3-0 sweep Thursday at Madera South.

Devine is taking over for Travis McEowen this season and has a new coaching staff with her.
