Stabbing victim in stable condition

Madera Police officers responded to the 700 Block of Linden St. for reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival Thursday morning at about 8:30 a.m., officers found a 25-year-old male who sustained a stab wound to the chest. 

Officers provided medical aid at the scene, and the victim was later transported to a local hospital by EMS, where he is listed in stable condition.

Officers obtained a description of the suspect and vehicle, and located the vehicle traveling in the area of Sunset Avenue and Mainberry Drive.
