Shooting investigation in Chowchilla

Madera County Sheriff’s Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a shooting in the area of Road 22 and Santa Fe Drive in Chowchilla on Saturday morning.
Deputies arrived on scene and discovered an adult female victim, who was airlifted to a regional hospital for treatment.
The MCSO Investigations Bureau determined a shooting took place at a residence in the area, and served a search warrant at a home in the 26000 block of Road 22.
