Madera Unified School district trustee, Ray Seibert, is not far from setting a couple of records in his role as an educational leader. The first one is quantitative.
Only one trustee in California has served on a school board longer than Seibert — one year longer. Seibert has occupied his place on the Madera School Board for 30 years.Â
Starting in 1989, Seibert has run for MUSD nine times. Recently, he told this writer that he is making plans to run his 10th school board race in November of this year.
