Madera County Treasurer-Tax Collector Tracy Kennedy announced that more than 62,000 secured property tax bills have been mailed to property owners listed on the most recent assessment roll.
These bills reflect a total of approximately $289.5 million in secured property taxes that are now officially due, and payable to the Madera County Tax Collector’s Office. Early payments are encouraged to avoid penalties and ensure timely processing.
“We’re pleased to introduce Easy Smart Pay — a convenient and user-friendly payment platform that helps property owners pay their secured and supplemental property taxes through affordable monthly installments, instead of one large payment,” Kennedy said. “Getting started is easy Each tax bill includes an insert with simple sign-up instructions, and our staff is available to assist you with any questions you may have. We would like to continue to encourage all taxpayers to take advantage of the convenience and security of online property tax payments. Paying online is not only fast and easy — it’s also the safest way to ensure your payment is received and processed without delay.
