Carolina San Miguel Turner.
Carolina San Miguel Turner, 83, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Sept. 16, 2025. Carol was born on June 4, 1942, in Sinton, Texas. She had a lifelong career as a hairdresser and was a member of the Madera Avenue Bible Church since the 1970s.
She was preceded in death by parents Ramon San Miguel Jr. and Manuela Figueroa, daughter Paige Garcia, her great-grandson Silas Torres, sisters Velia Martinez and Dolores Arroyo (Roberto) and nephew, David Mirelez.Â
She’s survived by her husband Carl Turner, son Hugh San Miguel (Helen), daughter Raye Marie Cole (Robert), son Bruce (Diana), four sisters, Christina Figueroa, Janie Mirelez (Richard), Norma Figuerova, Doris Clapp (Hurliss), nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Â
A kind soul who will be forever remembered as a woman of quiet strength. Her faith, warmth, wisdom and presence will forever remain in our hearts.
Celebration of Life service to be held at Madera Avenue Bible Church, 124 S. Walnut St., Madera, on Oct. 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
